Olsen Twins Launch Affordable Handbag Line!

Not to long ago the Olsen twins introduced a backpack to their line that was a staggering $55,000. Yes you read that right. Well those twins are at it again but this time their latest handbags endeavor is a line of bags for their Elizabeth and James line that are affordably priced!

The purses will hit stores in July and carry an average price tag of $500. “The price point is below [Alexander] Wang and [Phillip] Lim but above Marc [Jacobs] and Tory [Burch],” Mary-Kate tells WWD. Her sister, Ashley, adds, “And Rebecca Minkoff. We wanted these bags to be affordable.”

The line will feature a variety of styles and sizes in a “somewhat neutral” pallet with “pops of color,” according to Ashley.

Small leather goods will range from $125 – $395, and handbags between $395 – $625.
