Celebrity Style to Try!

Black and White:

While black and white is certainly not a new fashion trend, it seems to be a constant fashion trend. It’s classic, sophisticated and cool all at the same time. Here are some of our favorite stylish celebs with their spin on the classic look and similar items to steal their style!

Selena Gomez puts a fun flirty spin on her black and white choosing black jacquard shorts, a flirty loose white blouse and
sexy open toe booties! Steal her style with these similar pieces:

The modernized houndstooth graphic print on Nicole Richie's COMME des GARÇONS dress adds a little sassy to her otherwise sleek conservative look. Paired with her House of Harlow “natalia” booties, I’d say this black and white look is a winner for sure!Shop these similar styles to steal her look:

Is it possible to look sophisticated and sexy at the same time?
Olivia Wilde answers this with a big YES in her curve hugging below the knee dress. The placement of the black surrounding the white in the center will instantly slim, no dieting necessary! Pair with red heels and minimal accessories you’ve perfected the sophisticated yet totally sexy look! Get this look with these styles:

Olivia Palermo knows a thing or two about style, she pretty much maintains a constant presence on the “Best Dressed” lists. I love how she can take a simple outfit and make it look fabulous like she does by pairing her sleek white boyfriend blazer with a black tee and skinny Jeans. The wax coating on her jeans and snake skin heels brings a little excitement to her otherwise minimalistic look! Steal her style with these great choices:

Ashley Benson would have been the ultimate style icon with this look back in the 80’s. While trends today have taken cues from popular 80’s styles, it’s hard to wear the styles and still look age appropriate. Ashley manages to pull this off with her Studded Collar cutout sleeve button up blouse, distressed black skinnies and lace-up booties. Steal her style with these similar styles:

Casual Chic:

“To leave the house in sweatpants is to admit defeat” –Unknown
Lets be honest, No one wants to look like they’ve let themselves go but sometimes it’s just to much work and not enough time to transform into the Glam Goddess. Looking fabulous doesn’t mean looking runway ready everyday! Here are some essentials to achieve a Chic look with minimal effort:

No fuss Natural Make-up

Too Faced makes this great Natural eye palette that is all in one and user friendly! Not only does it give you a variety of colors but it also comes with handy little tutorial cards to show you exactly how to achieve the natural eye look! Mascara: Benefit Bad Gal Lash, Blush: E.L.F. baked blush in peachy cheeky Lip Gloss: E.L.F. Mineral lip gloss in Sorority Girl.

5 Minute Fabulous Hair

No time to wash? No worries, clean looking hair is as easy as spray in and shake out with TIGI’s amazing Rockaholic Dirty little Secret Dry Shampoo. Next, Curl: I wish I would have discovered this Remington Curling Iron years ago, it’s the fastest and easiest curling iron I’ve ever tried and gives absolutely perfect girls in literally seconds! Lastly spray in bumble and bumble Surf spray, then shake out your hair and you have perfect “I just naturally look this good” hair in less than 5 minutes.

The Casual Chic Outfit

My current obsession are draped front Wrap Cardigans they are so comfortable, slimming and Chic! Instead of throwing on your favorite old jeans mix it up with jeans in a bold print like these Leopard Skinnies. Finish your look with minimal accessories! Voila’ a minimal effort Casual Chic look in less than 20 minutes!

Cardigan: Alexander Wang draped wrap Cardigan- $345 farfetch.com, Jeans: Current/Elliot The Rolled Skinny Jeans- $315 farfetch.com, Tank: Splendid white tunic tank- $55 stylebop.com, Handbag: Tory Burch “Amanda” Fold over messenger bag- $435 toryburch.com, Shoes: Tory Burch Classic Reva Ballet Flat- $195 toryburch.com, Bangles: Gold and Hematite Bangle Set $9 shoplately.com, Studs: Emerson Studs- $12 cashmere and coco accessories.

My Makeup Obsession

If you are like me you probably have way too much makeup! My basic makeup everyday consists of concealer, bronzer, blush, liner, gloss, and mascara however I have 60 items in my makeup bag on any given day. The company that has saved my life and my bank account is ELF makeup!

I have highlighted some of my favorite products from them that REALLY WORK! These items range from $1 dollar (You read that right) to $30 for the brush sets and pallets. I am going to break down my favorite products by region EYES, LIPS, FACE, and NAILS

NAILS  I compare this to ESSIE polish cause that has always been my favorite brands but for the price ELF has a great product that covers and stays as long as ESSIE!

Compare to the leading brand ESSIE at $8 a bottle

LIPS The gloss stays on really well and it is the perfect shade of pink. The Tint is perfect for non lipstick people like myself. Great color without the think feel of lipstick!

Compare to MAC 'Lipglass' at $15
FACE-  Love the Baked products from ELF, they stay on (with Primer) 6-8 hours!

Compare to Bobbi Brown at $25

EYES   I have used Fluidline from MAC for years and switched to ELF cream liner and LOVE IT!

Compare to MAC 'Fluidline' at $15

All these products i highly recommend for color, quality, and best of all PRICE! ELF offers FREE SHIPPING all the time and has great deals for registered customers. They even send you a great makeup palette on your BIRTHDAY every year!
